Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Life Sciences (e.g. biochemistry, molecular biology). Postgraduate education in Business or Marketing (e.g. MBA) would be advantageous; OR
  • Two years of sales experience dealing with clinical diagnostic laboratories.
  • Good market knowledge (distribution and governmental health care systems, competition, etc.).
  • Fluency in Latvian and English, both written and spoken.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and other analytical and digital tools).
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • Prepared to travel locally (up to 70%) and internationally.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Planning and carrying out strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the stakeholders (i.e. laboratory managers).
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous business growth.
  • Regularly informing customers about product changes or updates.
  • Acting as clients’ main point of contact regarding any issues or support requests.
  • Cooperating closely with technical support and finance teams to address any issues.
  • Providing immediate resolution to customer delivery problems or stock-outs.
  • Analysing market reports and activities of competitors.
